Nolé Marin – President
The President is the chief volunteer leader of the Fashion Alliance Network. This individual provides leadership to the board, ensures effective governance, and represents the organization to key stakeholders, the public, and partners. The Chair works closely with the Executive Director to ensure alignment with the organization’s mission and strategic goals.
- Lead and facilitate board meetings, setting the agenda in collaboration with the Executive Director.
- Guide the board in strategic planning and policy development.
- Oversee and support the performance of the Executive Director.
- Serve as the primary spokesperson for the organization in external relations and public engagements.
- Ensure board members are fulfilling their responsibilities and promote board engagement and development.
- Uphold the mission, values, and goals of the Fashion Alliance Network.
Sherie Renell – Board Secretary
The Board Secretary is responsible for maintaining accurate records of all board activities, ensuring compliance with legal requirements, and providing administrative support for effective governance.
- Record, prepare, and distribute accurate minutes of all board meetings.
- Maintain current and historical board documents, including bylaws, policies, and board member records.
- Ensure compliance with governance procedures and legal requirements.
- Track board member attendance and terms of service.
- Assist the Board Chair in scheduling meetings and distributing agendas.
- Maintain a calendar of board activities, deadlines, and organizational filings.
Sherie Renell – Board Secretary
The Board Secretary is responsible for maintaining accurate records of all board activities, ensuring compliance with legal requirements, and providing administrative support for effective governance.

Claudia Rego – Board Treasurer
The Board Treasurer is the financial steward of the Fashion Alliance Network, overseeing the organization’s financial health and ensuring transparency and accountability in all financial practices.
- Monitor the organization’s financial performance, including budgets, income, and expenditures.
- Work with the Executive Director and finance team to prepare and present regular financial reports to the board.
- Ensure proper financial controls are in place, including compliance with applicable laws and best practices.
- Review and recommend annual budgets for board approval.
- Oversee the preparation of annual audits and IRS filings.
- Advise the board on financial planning, risk management, and sustainability.
Board members roles & expectations
Attend quarterly board meetings and annual retreats, serve a renewable 2-year term, participate in at least one committee, contribute financially or through strategic partnerships, serve as an ambassador by promoting the organization’s misión, assist with fundraising, sponsorships, and event support.
